Go to trezor.io/start in your browser and connect your device using the USB cable. You’ll be prompted to install the official Trezor Suite desktop application.
Trezor Suite provides a secure interface for managing your crypto assets. Download it for your operating system and follow the on-screen instructions.
If this is your first time using the device, it will come without firmware pre-installed. Trezor Suite will guide you through the installation of the latest official firmware. Always verify the firmware version on Trezor’s website to avoid any tampered versions.

The device will generate a 12 or 24-word recovery seed phrase. This phrase is the only backup of your wallet.
